●New Class starting this week (Thursday, October 20)
Thursday's 6pm Hatha class is changing to a Restorative Yoga class, still with Maggie. What is Restorative Yoga? It is an excellent practice for mind, body and soul. We start with gentle, unwinding movement and then ease into restorative poses, done on the floor, making full use of all our props. As the holding patterns of the day melt away, we can also use the time to refine attentiveness, mindfulness, and consciouness of our relationship to our body. A perfect way to end your day and prepare for a great nights sleep.
●Mindfulness Meditation Class with Susan
This class meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 10:15 - 11:15am. First-timers are asked to attend the 1st Wednesday only, arriving at 10:00am, when an introduction to meditation will be given prior to the start of the class. All others may attend either class, with the 3rd Wednesday being reserved for those who have previously attended, allowing for deeper exploration of the techniques.
You can now find White Dove Yoga on Facebook. Be sure to follow us for the latest schedule information, upcoming events and a little daily inspiration!
We practice yoga not just to be better yogis for the hour that we are in class, but to live more fully and with greater ease the other 23 hours of the day!
